An 11th-century Vishnu temple at Brahmagiri that becomes Puri’s most important address for fifteen days a year — during Anavasara, when Jagannath himself is hidden from view, devotees come here instead. Outside that window it is a quiet, rarely crowded stop directly on the road to Chilika, easy to fold into a Satapada day trip rather than visiting on its own.
